  • SupaSkoda LED Boot lights

As most of you will know, the boot lights are not bright (and yellow in colour - yuck)

These are the supaSkoda ultra bright LED boot lights for the Octavia Wagon
This is pitch dark at night - the photo does not do it justice, it's much brighter in real life
(And is a very nice white colour!)

    Photo is not showing, mate.

Can anyone tell me if it's just my problem or can no one see it?

    Happy Days.

I can see the photo. Then again, "Last edited by Martin; Today at 10:28 PM" (maybe changed the link?) but I could see it earlier from work too.

I've also bought these for the cabin dome lights

I've bought lots of W5W an festoon LED's - can't get the same while colour - looks bad

These are a perfect match and are a lovely bright white

Only problem is they are only very slightly all the time - mildly annoying - live with it for the moment

The on all the time thing has to do with the total resistance of the circuit, right?

I know its tied into the auto mirror... Turn it off and see what happens!

Here's some pics from when I swapped mine over to the Superskoda LED's!

I can see inside the boot at night, now. Especially when they're stuff in it!
Its not often I say this, but... These LED lights are well worth the $60-something you're gonna pay for them off Superskoda!!

If you still have stock filament globes in your boot, you're doing it wrong...

Only the sticker seems to have the wrong info on it. I couldn't fit them in our Tiguan, but it didn't worry me, it went in my sil RS. He is very happy with the change. I agree, it's good value and improvement.

I got the SuperSkoda dome lights and have the same problem with them glowing all the time (the two smaller ones). Put one conventional globe back in the smaller light to fix it (looks ugly though). You can get the boot lights for $37 off ebay.

Maybe if someone can put up a little table of what is needed, for example dome/boot/tail etc. etc. that might help a lot of us out!

                            Thanks guys
