while we're at.....check out the dynamic (bending) feature of the factory fitted xenons. the same self-leveling system also does the bending.

Back to the topic title - it was great to see your VRS up close and personal yesterday morning!
Bargain options compared to VW, so it's no wonder that some GTI or Jetta buyers would find value in an Octavia, if it fits their needs.
However the Jetta's massive boot suited me best at the time of purchase, so that we could fit tons of luggage into the boot!Bizi's Jetta TDI: Blue Graphite w. factory leather & tint, plus + Enkei Racing NT03+M + Yokohama S Drive 18s, Koni FSD, Neuspeed coils, GTI RSB + brakes, InPro mirrors, VW navi, Modshack. Come for a drive through the twisties on Saturdaze.

I could be nuts, but at the time I got the RS a few years back, the boot size in the Jetta was smaller due to being lower in height, and with the smaller sedan boot opening compared to a hatch of the Octy, it was the better choice for me lugging lots of stuff around.
When I hired a Jetta a few months back we also had issues fitting the same luggage from our Octavia into the Jetta (we hired an Octavia but Europcar substituted it).

And the Octy's boot is even better!

526L (jetta) vs 560L (octavia hatch).

Falcon = 504 litres
Commodore = 496 litres
When will Joe public learn?
