I picked mine last eve...its a real stunner! and overall quality of materials and stuff is really on par, if not better in some cases than my previous Golf.

On the other hand, they have given me a loaner until the car comes. That's the good news. The bad news, is that it isn't the Scout this time, it's a.... Holden Captiva manual diesel...

Can't say I'm remotely in love with that car. (Sorry Captiva lovers...)

No it isn't. Northshore Skoda. They've been really good with me. (Other than the wait, but at least they have been keeping me informed) Met the dealer principal (Northshore group) for the first time as he was walking through from the Service centre to Mitsubishi. My dealer introduced me and I was impressed that he actually remembered what car was ordered, what colour and most options, all from the date ordered. Nice group of people, and they have been very helpful too.

Well, you can't complain about them being helpful!

Penrith were helpful last time I spoke to them, before that they lost a couple of sales guys and that threw a spanner in the works and slightly soured our relationship. Hopefully their service centre is good when I need it.

I was originally told 3 months, and it'll be more like 4 1/2. Can't complain too much about that, it *is* being built on the other side of the world! Its mainly the communication that is important to me.

Hope Northshore service will be as helpful as the sales, too.

The dealers had already told me when I ordered that with the options list, it wont be here until mid-late May, so I'm already ahead. Sure, it might have been a buffer , but they were worried about the factory having January off might push things a bit. Anyone in the are wanting a Skoda, I would not hesitate to recommend them.

Patient guys , well worth the wait , believe me my RS petrol is just loosening up at 15k , now starting to really blast down B roads .

As others have said i still love getting into this car every morning , much more rewarding than the liberty 3.0r slushmatic , should have waited and got that liberty in a manual , oh well , using 60% off the fuel the scoobie gobbled .
