Several critical mistakes here, never ever let your significant other drive it in the early days, and keep their driving time to a minimum, and spaced apart so their memory fades when they get back into their normal car. Everytime my wife drives the RS I have to hear weeks of complaints about her car (which is not much older and perfectly fine). Mainly cause we traded in her "fun" car on the Skoda and she had my car which was more practical for her.
The only way this was all possible was I promised next car switch time, I would sell her car and she got the RS, but lately if I've even hinted at using the RS to update to the newer one and keeping hers longer, she gets cranky. The only way to resolve this is to end up with two RS's next time the lease is up.....
