It's a piggy back unit for the ecu, and increases the hp/torque.
It's a good system from what I've read up on. It's advantage is that it can be removed, not like a flash tune, where you need to go back to the dealer.

 Cheers

Sorry to anyone that was keen.
I've been asked to stop taking orders for the group buy.
Any one keen will need to go directly to autoinstruct.

Would 17 inch Wheels fit over the front RS Brakes?

Looking at cheap wheels for Track days
17s with good rubber is way cheaper than 18/19sLast edited by HPRS230; 31-01-2017, 04:03 PM.

Wouldn't see a problem, the brakes aren't that big! If you had some Brembos or the like it would be a different storyOriginally posted by HPRS230 View PostWould 17 inch Wheels fit over the front RS Brakes?

It's not so much the size of the rim more the clearance between the back of the spokes and the caliper you need to check.Originally posted by HPRS230 View PostWould 17 inch Wheels fit over the front RS Brakes?

Yea, the 18in wheels have about an inch or so to the front brake caliper.
Ill keep an eye out and see what I can find.
I might measure the distance from the centre line of the Hub to the brake caliper.

17" should fit on the 330mm (??) fronts. I know for a fact that 16" fit on the old 312mm fronts of the Mk2 vRS.carandimage The place where Off-Topic is On-Topic
I used to think I was anal-retentive until I started getting involved in car forums

Has anyone done a fuse tap in a mark 3 Oct?
After power while ignition on. Only ones I can find is
 clutch/start stop - mini
 Rear wiper - normal size

But you can't get a fuse tap as other larger fuse type things are in the way.

 Any help cheers

 Edit:
Seems like spot 48 (not assigned) might work. Will keep you posted

 Edit 2:
 Yip that seems to work.
