Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

The new forum software is an upgraded version of what came before, it's mostly the same but also a little different. Hopefully easier to use and more stable than before. We are learning together here, so please be patient. If you have questions, please post them here. If you have worked something out and can provide an answer,

  • Reverse camera / park pilot issues

I've got a MY15 RS162 fitted with reverse camera, which was an option back then.

    Issue #1
Put it in reverse, it goes to the rear cam, all is well, as per photos below:

But then I noticed that in a lot of online photos, there's this alternative screen on the right, which I have never seen on my MY15. Anyone with a MY15 with rear cam tell me if they can see the screen below?

    Issue #2
I've got Park Pilot on Automatic, which will supposedly activate OPS when I'm travelling below 10km/h and it's been hit or miss, and if I does activate, I get a small screen rather than the big screen one like below:

    Issue #3
Whenever I press the park assist button, it will always switch to the rear cam even if I'm going forward. Is that normal?
