I'm trying to avoid any heavy exhaust mods as it's the wifey's daily and don't want it to be all that loud.

I'd be happy with a nice note to hear the gear change fart or crackle every so often in stock standard form in sports mode.

Sounds like it can only be heard on the outside and from close range.

Your res delete does give it a nice tone

Im in the same boat wifes car i drive it 5% of the time. She is happy with what I have done and really really doesn't want it louder.

I have always had loud cars, even the wife's last car a focus XR5 Turbo had a full 3" system and it sounded great to me but she was over it after 5 years.

In summary if your looking for a subtle increases of exhaust note inside and a noticeable note externally centre res is the way.

Thing that surprised me the most is how much noise the soundaktor is injecting into the cabin even in Eco or comfort mode. Its always making noise.

I've got the new beast...or the Turbo Yoda Skoda!

Arrived at 1pm. A couple of issues though:

1. the set of Rubber mats I was promised weren't in the car. Apparently knocked off by another salesman, so a new set is being couriered to me on Monday.
2. When I pushed the 'Start' button the first time it said ' 12v BATTERY LOW, PLEASE DRIVE TO RECHARGE' I drove it for about 10 mins parked it in the garage and tried it again with the same message, so I've now driven it to work (about 1/2 hour). Hopefully that fixes it.

Really nice to drive, has a dual personality, very smooth and quiet in normal mode, put it into sport and hammer it...and jeez it goes all right, it actually surprised me. Yep, the fake WRX soundtrack is hilarious, I sort of like it, but I can imagine getting tired of it pretty quickly. It's also annoying how it only makes the sound on throttle application, I'd expect it on over-run and down changes. I guess that's was a proper exhaust will do! Oh well, the Vibrant resonator is on it's way.

I just had to move it in the parking lot...the low battery warning is no more...phew, I was worried that there may be an issue.

The plates came with the car, not sure if I'll keep them long term as I have a set of personalised plates that I've had since I was 21.

The rear plate is stuffed though, I'm going to get it remade, the dealer said that thy'd foot the bill.

Exhaust shop just ordered in a 15" long 2.5" in and out Stainless steel resonator, no brand marking so who knows. i think any brand will work the same excluding Glass pack or Steel packed

Was that 15” the body length or the total length?

As much as I would love those plates, I have to keep the ones I have as it would be too complicated changing everything with my business.
(I may get my existing ones remade in Green though!?)

OK thanks, I’m having a 14” (body) Magnaflow fitted with a custom downpipe to my Tiguan R-Line. Be interesting to see what it sounds like compared to yours.
