Spotted a blue FL RS wagon in Artarmon today, and a white pre FL RS wagon on the Harbour Bridge today

You will know if you ever see my blue RS wagon around the Concord area, it will be the one with the big gutter gouges in the front near side wheel.

spotted a blue VRS Octavia wagon in Chatswood...at 12 noon this afternoon. I think its rego was BMN 54S! looked bloody awesome...shining like a diamond

My wife has parked beside a grey Octavia wagon which was rego'd April 2010 but has Essendon VW plates...what the? In Blackburn right now.

Saw a blue RS wagon parked at DFO South Wharf yesterday afternoon. Had bike racks on it.

Saw a dirty TDi Octy wagon (silver) at the research park at Bundoora today, I think it might be a builders car, was bought from Richmond Skoda.

Could be one of the ones that was used in the Tour Down Under in SA earlier in the year. I think some of them went through the auction process.

Ah true......and a VW dealer would make sense....I was wondering whether there was a new dealer in the works coming up there. Strangely enough I got my window tinting done at Penfold Mazda and when I came back to get it, there were sales guys all over it. Apparently the mechanics had looked already. They used to do the Audi bit there so a lot of it would be familiar. They all asked me about it and reckoned it was put together really well, they were surprised and I wondered at the time whether they were thinking of selling them, if Richmond Audi can, Penfolds sure could and they would have the middleclass area of Melb stitched up.

There were strong rumours that Penfolds wanted to start a Skoda franchise in Doncaster. Haven't heard anything new about that for a few months now.

To be honest, they had been all over the car, and admitted that the mechanics had been under the bonnet as well. I didn't know what to think, but I know that tinters had given it a thrashing as well from a comment someone had made. I find Penfold Mazda sales guys in particular to be the lowest form of scum. The mechanics are ok, but just ok, compared to Ringwood Mazda they did a cheap job, but for a lot more $$. Penfolds are not the premium dealer think they are.

Hmm maybe one around Burwood like I mentioned would be better placed. There is nothing out that way, and a lot of people buying cars. Although it's big business for chinese residents buying asian sourced cars, Toyota, Honda, Nissan and Mazda all do well around there, the others not so much.

It's interesting how the car companies can still manage to get away with agreements that effectively consitute a restraint of trade. I wonder what would happen if somebody took them to court over one. Of course it will never happen though.

Saw 3 FL TSI Octavia Wagons today within 30 seconds of each other on Chruch St bridge over the Yarra in Richmond. A Silver, White & Gold. Seriously thought it was a Skoda convention!
