Fair comment- but what is the base spec actually called?

I also forgot the grey Roomster in the Mall, Leura yesterday

Base specs used to be called Ambiente (with the Ambiente 4x4, Elegance/4x4, Scout and RS further up) but when they facelifted the Octavia they just named and specced the models according to engines and gave the Scout the sole 4x4 abilities of the range - eg 1.6MPI (btw does anyone on this forum actually have one? It's sounds bloody awful to me)/1.9TDI, 1.8TSI/2.0TDI, RS and Scout.

Might've been the same Roomster - the one I saw had yellow plates and no roof rails (XX:00:XX) - we all know how rare they are unfortunately

Sounds like it may have been the same Roomster - rare to see the yellow plates on them. Jarvins said to me they never want to see a Skoda move off their lot with yellow plates, as it makes them look cheap....

Gold Cost Octavia's

Is funny how there are so few around that you around that you actually get to know if you've seen the same one before.

There's a few on the Gold Coast... 08, Red and White Ambiente, Blue & Silver, Elegance Wagons... I've only seen like 1 facelift Ocy and 1 Superb...

I got a wave from a Roomster driver which I though was great.

There is only 3 dealerships in Queensland and the 08 Ocy was only really selling new for a year and a half or so.... So thats why there is not too many around and not too many people know they exist.

Yeah I noticed the LED lights... Anthracite Grey is a great colour. We were going to put on a Grey RS TSI Wagon but we sold it before it landed
