Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    MK2 IBIZA - Heater is not hot

    Hi guys,

    my heater is not blowing hot air, and also the aircon is always freezing cold, no matter which way i have the temperature lever.

    the lever feels ok when rotating (not slipping, etc)

    has anyone come up with that before?

    I had a cordy where the heater must have been corroded and the pipes were blocked of!!
    I do have a new heater core which is like a small radiator should you want to replace it and am nr u at Fernvale.
    I also have cordy parts car where we can check the switches against yours.

    Maybe your aircon switch has been bypasses due to faulty switch.
    still cold in August even in Qld
