moving a car from sydney to Brisbane. cheapest option

    doesn't include me driving it.

Heard there was a service that will do it for $450?

    Anyone know of the company.

search turns up nothing with "transport" or "feight"

I had a car delivered from Brisbane to Matt's workshop a couple of years back.

Door To Door Car Carrying - Home

They were really good, allow personal items in the car and also don't really mind too much if you are lowered.

            Hi,

When do you need it done? Can you pay for a flight back?

Damn. Just did a 12 hour leisurely drive in my missus' 77TSI on Thursday the 1.2T had surprisingly decent poke.

If you blind luck into someone doing the drive with a spare body who is willing to drive the car, great, but assumings two guys + flights home (or there if you fly to Sydney and drive back) at $100 a piece you're up for ~$150 in fuel + $200 in flights... and that's before you offer your saviour a token of your appreciation.

While it's mad fun (and I've done it a few times now) you really are bordering on transport company costs. Have a hunt around and get a few quotes from the various car carriers.

If it has an engine or heartbeat it's going to cost you.

I saw a CEVA truck in the traffic the other day. They have covered trucks so no stone chips or bugs.

Likewise used Door 2 Door, and from my experience can recommend.

                            That what the pros charge!

It's probably best to insure it, you don't want to spend so much money and loose all of it
