how do I buy it for the man/company taking the car on the road?



do I just buy third party and that will cover the trip it takes from being transported.

Third party insurance is cover for people you run into, so they can get their car fixed. Your car stays damaged. If the Ibiza gets damaged, you are on your own. Fire and theft covers the Ibiza for fire and theft only.

Fully comprehensive covers it for all damage, subject to the excess. If you run into a lamp post and no one else is involved, the lamp post gets fixed and so will the Ibiza assuming the cost of the repairs doesn't exceed about 50% of the value of the car. Again that would be less your excess, which you could say is the uninsured part of the car.

I would check with the shipping company to be sure but they should be covering the car for any damage that occurs in transit, once they have the keys. ie If the car falls off the transporter, then you get paid out on their policy. Also, you want to check it for damage when you pick it up.

Matt has sent me a couple of cars in the past and they arrived unscathed, so I don't expect that to be a problem for you.

I said I'll pay tomorrow when it not a public holiday when I can make sure I can get it here. then he said "You have wasted my time. I will not sell you this car. You have contravened the rules of eBay. I will leave you bad feedback. Have a nice life. probably shouldn't bid any more cars without asking your mummy first" then I told him it not me not willing to pay it him not even given 24 hours to pay.

Very stupid of him to expect you to pay straight away, imo
I have tried to buy a couple of cars from interstate buyers, and if they were too demanding, i did not bother with the sale.

Also different people have different meanings for what is a "cheap" car, to some 1500 is just loose change, while to others its 1500.
