          i think the 17th july.. too soon
          as for powdercoating Vs 2-pac paint;
          some alloy wheels can buckle under the temperatures powdercoating requires to cure.
          for instance my RA's were been painted with 2-pac, because i've heard they buckle.
          but i dont know what those wheels are like.... anyone???

            ok i've decided on a colour for the centres - but am now presented with a pickle. to compliment the said colour (secret) i wish to have gold bolts. problem is - mine are silver. all (140~?) of them.
            should i a) drill holes in a plank of wood and spray them gold. b) get new, gold bolts. c) anodise or powdercoat (or whatever) my existing bolts professionally or d) deal with it and keep them silver.

            each have pros and cons - a)i feel as though if i spray them, they will either chip or flake when fitting and over time turn to ****. also i cannot 'polish' paint. but, cheap. b) expensive. very. but they're gold. c) look at 'b)' but maybe tone it down a little (get rid of the 'very') and d) cheapest option. but, they're not gold.

            thanks in advance

              Awesome wheels, something I would snap up myself!

              Buy new bolts. Spraying/powdercoating them won't give them that shine, and I reckon anodising them could cost more. If you're not in too much of a hurry, I'll be bringing in a few sets of new bolts in a week or two and can get a quote for your set, I'll just need some info on the bolts, specifically the thread diameter and pitch, length of the bolt and diameter of the head. Just PM me.

                  cheers ray! but i think spending any more on the wheels (...not that i've spent much.. ) is the last thing i need to do at the moment (had a few, more pressing issues pop up recently requiring monetary funding) so i'll unfortunately have to pass this one up!!

                  gold for sure!! i know i would if i could afford it...

                  lips currently being polished, centres should be all sprayed up ready to roll in the next week and i'm picking up two 225/40/18 tyres as well as the adapters in the next few days, just need to find two 215/40/18 now and reassemble the wheels!

                          Any pics of your current coilovers? If they have the helper springs, just remove them and you can run lower, at the cost of comfort though of course.

                            What's comfort?

                            I should probably ask a MKV/MKVI owner.

                              Ahaha cheeky!! They have an aluminum cap on the top before I put on the bumpstops? Or bushings? Forget the name. Bushings
                              I think, I got mk4 r32 bushings off ecs and am running them at theoment but they seem
                              Larger than the stock ones... Heard polo ones are smaller and add more lows??
