turned out to be the ignition control module..

vwwatercooled sticker came yesterday replacing a spur of the moment 'like a boss' one thats on there at the moment...

thule square bar roof racks arrived today! and i cut up a piece of 4.5mm black perspex to oem thule 555 fairing specs
just need to work a fitting solution then its full steam ahead
also picked up a bike carrier off gumtree and refurbed/painted it black (as expected)
can't say mum was overly impressed opening the dishwasher to find all the bits and pieces in there...

Video was done yesterday at 3 o'clock. I started work at 6 and we were forced to stop filming due to rain and ended up getting home at 5. We didn't get nearly as much footage as we wanted (didn't even get a chance to get the new gopro hero2 out!! ) basically video was shot and edited by a friend of mine who hasn't done much (any) car-related video before. Some of the videos he's done are on his Vimeo (titled 'summer') - showing a few of the shinanigans we get up to
Will be getting some photos from yesterday's shoot processed and hopefully a better planned/well shot/composed video coming sometime...


Also coils and hanging out to get my tune done too!! (uni exams over the next couple of weeks though )

cheers dude, haven't seen any other A3's with a rack set up similar to that...
made the thule fairing myself from 4.5mm perspex and managed to find an ex-demo fairing that i used for the mounting brackets..
also as i don't have a drink holder in my car i've cable tied one to the roof racks. surprisingly convenient i must say.. its on the drivers side next to the bike carrier...

ah well, will chuck up some pics from the other day but can't wait for coils!!
anyone have advice on what to go with? seen some FK street coils on ebay for cheaaapppp cheap cheap and also JOM but is it really worth spending a little more?
