Audi S3 8V radiator Expansion Tank

Hello there,

I had my S3 serviced yesterday and was told that my radiator expansion tank was leaking around the water level sensor plug.
Apparently VW/Audi/Skoda all suffer from this.

Has anyone on the forum had a similar problem?
And if so, where did you source a replacement tank from.

Yes its somewhat common - they need to be thrown out and replaced every 6yrs or so.

No problem - the plastic just gets brittle with the heat cycles of the engine and they they start to crack. Its a cheap fix so not too bad.
