Hi all,

Looking at a 118Tsi wagon. Test drive today !
Have some questions about the radio options (will post in the appropriate section).
Going for white. Options I've picked so far are Sport Pack, Leather, Towpack.
Hoping to add a AVC9000-1 instead of the stock RCD310.
Originally had a Skoda RS wagon ordered, but changing to the Golf wagon due to 1)resale value in 5 years at the end of the lease; 2)better fuel economy with the 118; 3)95 fuel in the VW vs 98 in the Skoda.

Just recently purchased a 2009 Passat 125 sedan, standard off the lot, bought to long haul in comfort while remaining economical, very impressed with the drive train so far and the family likes the vehicle as it is now.

Looking to upgrade some components that I think can be improved upon.

Hi, sadly I just sold my 2003 STi. Looking for a VW, undecided between a Golf TDI or Passat Wagon TDI. I'm hitting these forums to find out which!

G'day all, I'm Alan, and I'm damn glad to meet ya! Enough lurking, now time to sign up.

Currently on my third water-pumping VW (since December 2005: MkV Golf 2.0 TDI Sportline, United Grey, DSG, tint, 18" Khartoums, preceded by a MkIII Golf 2.0 GL manual in the late 90's, and, waaaay back, a Passat GLS hatchback, circa 1980 - first car).

Now that I've seen that the Golf GTD is coming to Oz, I have a tough choice to make: an optioned up 2.0 TDI Comfortline (DSG, Sport pack, leather, sunroof, park assist, MDI) or spend the extra dollars and wait longer for a similarly equipped GTD.

Decisions, decisions......

making my 87 caravelle better everyday, new(ish) engine; big end came through motor case on the m2 after shonky vw hater touched it so she scored 2.1l with 27k on clock. She's not jealous of anyone... but r32's.

We are Chris's (HAH44) parents, we've inherited Chris's 2 VR6's as well as his passion for VW's. Firstly, his pride and joy 1995 silver VR6 (HAH44), which we are sure that you all remember from the cruises. The second, his project car 1997 black VR6 (LUC34), both of which we are working on to bring up to the standard that Chris would have wanted so that we can join you all on cruises, which we are really looking forward to.

We want to thank everyone for all you have done for us since our loss and the friendship and loyalty you all showed Chris.

We are looking forward to meeting up with you all again on the cruises as soon as possible (when the cars are up to scratch).

I haven't heard on any official GTI Clubs in South East QLD.

I see plenty of GTI's out and about, so am wondering if there are any GTI gatherings in this area?
