Hello everyone. I've been lurking here on and off since 2007 and now glad to join you all. I have 16x7 inch 50 offset rims. I have been unable to find what tyres I am limited too. I am hoping 225/50/16 fit on my TDi?

Hey everyone,

I presently have an Audi A4 (B5 1.8T, with some bits and bobs) looking to sell the it and get into a MK VI GTI this year some time. I'm also on the ozaudi forum occasionally with the same tag.

Your forum is great with alot of very useful tips and opinions, I hope to be able to contirbute further once I lay my hands on a GTI.

Passat Pondering

Hi folks: long time lurker, first post.

Test-drove a Passat 125 TDI wagon this afternoon after masses of research, mainly from this exceptional forum. The drive was pretty impressive - a very classy interior, great handling, and once I got over the turbo lag found it pretty responsive. The terrible seats - we drove an older MY10 build - may be a deal-breaker for my wife (She Who Must Be Obeyed), but fortunately the Highline spec now applies to the 125, which means sports seats. Anyone know whether they are better?

We've discounted a bunch of others, from the Tiguan (sorry fans, but lack of boot space is a killer) to the Volvo V50 (ditto) and the Forester (hideous blind spots).

Hope to get some reassurance soon since we might be turning Japanese instead... we're test driving an Outback tomorrow. It looks hideous, but the pedigree is pretty impressive.

Grateful for anyone's opinions!

Anyone know VW Passat 98 Service location near 2131 Sydney?

Hi Everybody,
I've just bought VW Passat 1998 Sedan V6 2.8 with 147,400kM on clock. This is my first VW even I have other SUV at home. Very nice to drive and love this car. Any way, it has log book with service record from previous owner. It's last service was on 12/12/08 with 138,400kM. I think I should do service for this car.
Does anyone suggest me the good reliable (money & valve )VW service location near Sydney Innerwest (2131, NSW)?
Do I need to send it to VW Dealer Service Station with this kM and this age of car?
Previous owner done service at "Dunham Auto Repair" at Russell Vale 2517 but it is too far from my place.
I do not have any experience with VW and it's my first VW ever.
If you know any idea & suggestions for this, please let me know.
