I have a 2007 Polo GTI. I have had a few problems with it but all good at the moment.... fingers crossed.

New to site

Hi, first post. Have owned following VW's. Golf 1, 2 Beetles, Scirrocco Storm (Mk1), Mk1 Scirrocco GLS, Mk1 Golf GTI (1.6), Polo G40 (superb little car). Current car is MK5 Golf GTI DSG and have just bought a 1991 Golf Cabriolet which I am picking up next. The cab is going to be my project car, get her serviced and brakes sorted at Golfwagen. Would appreciate some feedback on things to look for.

Was going to go for a new Golf GTI in Oct but now that I know they're bringing another new model out in a couple of years will wait. My 05 GTI's only mod is a Superchips engine management remap. Works great and marginally more economical, but amazing how quick you get used to the performance improvement and want more.

Hey guys, im James, definite newbie, recently hitting my "mid-life" crisis early at 21 and want a project car, preferably a 3-Door Golf Mk1. I currently own 2 cars: 2004 Ford Fairmont and a 1992 Ford Fairmont, but want to change a bit 2 a little pocket rocket hothatch.

I am what I call myself "Volkswagenly Retarded", so minimal knowledge and experience in this field but definitely up for the challenge.

If any one can send me some leads to some Mk1's that would be great
