Hi All,
My name is Tim, I live in the southern Adelaide Hills.
After a couple of years eyeing them off i bit the bullet and purchased an R36 Wagon, none available in Adelaide at the time so i ended up flying to Sydney to pick up a MY10 Candy White Wagon with 62K on the clock and driving it home. Car was in pretty decent shape, MFD and RNS510 still had the plastic film on them! A couple of small issues but nothing major i can't sort out sooner rather than later, brakes in the next couple of weeks (ordered ATE from Eurobahn) then i think the previous owner may have skipped the DSG service as it's a little jerky on take off and in car parks so i'll sort that soon after.
Currently it's the family bus that the wife drives, I grab every chance i can to drive it myself but unfortunately it's not nearly enough considering it was the car I was after and not for her!
No plans to mess around with it much, i'll bring it back up to scratch and just drive it i think.
Great forum so far, lots of friendly banter and solid info, I look forward to hopefully being able to contribute a bit as i learn more about the car.
Cheers
