Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Long time lurker, but finally made the purchase :)

    Hey guys and gals,

    My name's Ben and I've always wanted a Golf ever since stumbling upon the golf scene in Europe over a decade ago and I've also been long time lurker here, and I've probably made posts about getting a golf..

    Last week I made an impulse decision to test drive a MK7R and not long after I ordered a Black MK7R without any hesitation

    My car was supposed to be delivered yesterday, but I was notified that the car had a small scratch from transport!

    I was spewing! But I've organised for them to fix it before I pick it up, and as for the mean time they let me borrow their demo Golf R which I have been driving around and having a feel for, it's a great car and I can't wait to get mine
