Hi just thought I'd join and I need advice already! Who'd have thought hey.
Firstly I have a 2005 mk5 golf trend line 1.9TDI.
I lent it too my brother in law and the front tyre blew and he hit a gutter and light pole.
Short story...... New drivers side lower control arm, tierod end and drive shaft. That bits easy!
What my problem is is that I have to replace the alternator engine mount bracket and the top engine mount bolt hole has sheared off.
I've read that it happens and there is a bracket by Dieselgeek called the Vangogh. Can these be bought in Australia or only online? Or is there another local fix that works?
Any advice would be great!
