I have a 2005 mk5 2.0 FSI, its got around 100k on it, with the 6 speed Aisin automatic.

I have had an issue in the past where when i went to start the engine the entire car shook, only sometimes, i cleaned the valves and put a 035 dogbone rear engine mount metal...

I have a Mk 6 GTI with 150K on the clock. I maintain it pretty well and am aware of the usual things. You know, a coil on plug sh*ts itself so I replace all four, because the drive home was so heinous I never want to experience that again. All has been good and I just serviced the thing (I do it myself)....

I have noticed recently that when backing off the accelerator and punching the pedal again there seems to be movement .My thoughts would indicate that perhaps the gearbox needs bracing either for a dogbone mount or change the insert .As Im not savvy on golf's suspension etc as of yet some inputs...

So i have this weird noise when I lift off the accelerator, especially in 2nd gear. I have had a look at the engine mount, it looks fine and doesn't have much play. I suspect it's coming from the dogbone mount or the DSG mount, where do you guys think the noise is coming from?

In the process of installing a new powerflex dogbone insert for my 9n3 GTI.

Was just wondering what are the torque specs for the mount.

e.g. the 2 bolts to the transmission and the main insert bolt to the subframe.
