QLD MY16 Tiguan 155TSI RLine

Hi guys, I have been browsing this forum since I put down a deposit for a Tiguan 6 weeks ago, and I just received my MY16 155 R Line last Friday. Pretty happy overall, but I was told that the voice control button requires $400 to be activated. Quite upset but that, and I expressed that to my dealer. They said they will try to get VW to do "something" about it.

Btw, I thought the MY16 Tiguan comes with the engine start button, keyless entry and led headlights. Perhaps these features are only reserved for europe/US only... Shouldn't have watched too much reviews of the europe/US models, had my hope too high.

Unfortunately we've been without a decent headlight option since the HID option was discontinued a year or so ago.

And yes there's a few options only available in overseas models as you've found out

In New Zealand you can order Xenons, DCC, Keyless start (Kessy) and leather with R-Line Tiguans. Why are we being left out???

My understanding is, the voice control is part of the package for the R line and shouldn't have any other charges!! Unless they are trying to rip you off.
