  • WA Newbie - Scirocco R :-)

    Hey

Originally from Scotland moved here 2010, living the dream!

I've got a VW Scirocco R "Viper Green" from new and have done a Stage 1 ECU remap and also added a VW R Air Intake System bought from UK as was cheaper than to buy from APR, in the process of having Audi Engine cover modified to match my car and to allow space for Intake System.

I cam across this website whilst looking for ideas on upgrade and found peoples advise/comments very useful.

Feel free to message me ?

        Some Pics

Recently had ECU APR upgrade and VWR Intake System added, very impressed with the differences from standard spec.

I purchased the Intake System from Ecotune in Glasgow, UK and shipped it across work out about AUD$800 including delivery they removed the UK VAT of 20%, cheapest I seen here in Australia was $975.00.

I also purchased an Audi TTS engine cover which its currently being painted the same colour as the car Viper Green with a Gloss Black finish for where the Audi rings are and will be filled in, I will post the completed pics when I receive the cover back from my friend who is painting this for me.

Some pics below of the VWR Intake being fitted

The pics below of the Audi engine covers was just added for progress pictures only and wasn't bolted in merely place over engine until its been painted, also the battery cover well the middle section is being spray painted where you see the battery pic on the battery cover.

I'll upload some more pics on completion of engine cover
