Hi Just found this site this morning,I have a T4 transporter 1997 2.5 petrol Manual.I bought it four years ago and have had no problems, I recently had a full service five weeks ago. My problem is it will not start. It will run for about five seconds then cut out, and will only do this when engine is cold, it seems like it is starved of petrol although I can smell petrol if I keep turning the engine over, I can also hear the fuel pump run when I turn on the ignition on.any ideas of what the problem could be ? also like to add that my wife towed me home in her little Subaru wagon which was an experience, and the van is now sitting in my front yard.
