i have a 2.5l petrol t4 with intermittent cut out issues, turning over and not starting etc.

Replaced the distributor, relay 30 and 167 and it’s working better but still having similar problems

I read from someone else who had the same thing it could be...

When I was filling up today I noticed on the inside of the Tiguan Petrol flap it says 95 RON and E5 and E10

I always put 95 RON Petrol into the Tiguan

As the Petrol Flap had the E10 sign, I assume that means the Tiguan maybe able to take E10 ?

Unfortunately I was operating on auto pilot yesterday and after driving my wife’s petrol car for a few weeks I inadvertently put 10l of Petrol into my Diesel Tiguan. I drove it for a km or so before I realised. The car is now parked whilst I work out what to do with it.

I need help please.
My 1998 T4 LWB 2.5 petrol manual transporter has the red battery light on. It’s not the alternator, regulator or loose belt.
It appears to be a problem with the instrument cluster cpu board. Does anyone know where I can get this fixed/replaced in Sydney....

I’ve got a random opportunity to buy a 1.6GLD. I’ve also managed to source a low K TT motor... anyhow I was wondering if anyone has converted a diesel to Petrol? I cannot imagine it’s that’s hard but the electrics have me slightly worried. I assume the fuse box and wiring...
