  • SA What a brilliant collection of amazing people!

Hi all - first post time.

I live on a vineyard. I like wine, women (but my wife is still my sweetheart after 32 years), and song (I collect vinyl and restore old 70's audio; an old school technician). I run a hotel (our house, but always someone visiting - think its because there's 80 cellar doors nearby) for freeloaders.

I love motorbikes and ride a Harley.

My wife drives a 09 Passat CC. I think it's a very nice car. I'm number 2 on the seat memory. Not sure if she has someone better looking as number 3!

I've been enjoying reading this forum. What clever people you are. I very much enjoy the tech stuff; its very informative thanks.

Thanks for having me on the forum guys!

hishothouse: I do like to read a post from someone who paints his words so deftly! So much colour and it's only your first few sentances! Wine women and song (in that order?)- is that the secret?
Please don't PM to ask questions about coding, or vehicle repairs. The better place to deal with these matters is in the forum proper. That way you get the benefit of the wider expertise of other forum members! Thank you.

I have a friend who collects vinyl and he was always complaing that he never finds any rare records at bargain prices at garage sales. One of his school friends rang him out of the blue a few months ago and asked if he still collects records (my friend is in his 40's). He was then invited to a Radio DJ's gargage to pickup several boxes of old records that the DJ was throwing out.

When my friend got there he found most of the records were from the 70's and 80's and signed by the original artists.

My friend doesn't complain any more.

              Cheers

              Paul
