  • New here, MK6 Gti now, and soon a gen 1 tiguan!

    Hello!!
I've had my mk6 gti for about 18 months now, loving it, currently stage one ECU and TCU with some whiteline springs and swaybars. Also looking at getting a gen 1 tiguan for the daily, which will probably be pretty similar to my mk6 gti. So I may need a hand knowing some tiguan stuff

    Hi and welcome!

Engine in the GTI and Tiguan are almost identical so most things that work on one will work on the other.

Exception being the air intake is different and some of the suspension components.

Thanks Tigger73, I've been reading up on tiguans and noticed that, however i noticed the steering wheels are different! I saw you have changed yours on your 125TSI build, is it legal to change the steering wheel, despite it not being offered by VW? (Vic and SA laws are almost the same when it comes to steering wheels)
