Recently bought a mk6 Golf GTI. Car came with a couple of mods including a CobbAccesport running a stage 2 map.
I hate to say it but i regret buying it. Sorry but the car is such a massive let down performance wise. My twin cam SX corolla from the 90's feels quicker...

Hi all. New to VAG ownership. Bought a 2010 Mk6 GTI a few months ago now. Great car, has it's foibles, but I'm really enjoying it.
Already installed an RCD-330 head unit and replaced the worn front door handle trims (the rubber coating was worn) with solid plastic ones.

I have a 2010 Mk6 GTi DSG (DQ250 with code LTL) slipping on all gear changes. Quoted 6K to rebuild box with new clutch pack, solenoids and flywheel. 2012 Mk6 GTi DSG. 147km. Whining in 1st and 2nd. Took it to lube mobile, who removed the box and took it to transmissions r us in Perth, and apparently needs bearings replaced and a new clutch. Quoted $6000 all up.
