Hi Guy and Gals
I am new to the Aussie forum, live in far north QLD and have owned VW's for over 25 years. All diesel's although I am seriously considering a move to the new 110TSI or GTI given the lack of manual transmission offerings in the diesel range. I have owned the Mk I diesel, Mk II diesel and currently own 2 Mk III Tdi's both 1995 models in manual transmissions.
