It looks like I probably will be too. Leaving before 5:30am isn't really my idea of a Sunday morning. Also don't want to drive for 2½ hours first and be tired for the track.

We're booked in to the Warwick Motor Inn ... not the same as Coachmans? If not ... we'll find you at Coachmans for dinner or drinks on Sat nite.

      Cheers,
      Dave

It looks like I'll have 312mm slotted disks and EBC Yellowstuff (thanks Shane) fitted on Firday. Should be interesting to see the results in braking improvement.

Also, do we get a certificate stating we attended advanced driver training ? QBE will discount my insurance if I have some proof .....

            Sharkie,

Ring SDT & Ask - certainly we get them for the level 2 driver training - last time I can't remember for the level 3.

              Hoyhoy.
For anyone going from the Gold Coast, I think you'll find, Nerang to Beaudesert run a better option.

You better do more to your car Eddy, so you can beat me next time

Great day, can't wait to do it again.

There weren't any 'results' as such. But my best time (according to a crappy stop watch) around the long track (2.1km) was 1:19.25. I was pretty happy with this for my first track day ever.

Here's some photos, quite heavily biased to me obviously (my g/f was the camera operator).

Fun to put the Pog thru it's paces ...

Sadly ... can't drive and take the pics at the same time. Was very pleased with the Marangonis ... could only have been improved by a better driver.

Excellent weather - good day! glad to see no damage done & all the first timers enjoyed it.

Nice pics Sam, those pics from the bridge are awesome!

We should have some pics from Stu later this week!

Now I just have to find some new Rotors & pads for the GTI before next weekend!
