As opposed to those members who attend one VWW meet stock and the next are stage 2, lowered and new wheels?

Always an exception to every rule.

haha, yeah in an ideal world, we could have 40$ dyno runs all the time, I'd do a run after every mod!

If you speak to them nicely they can book you in for a power run pretty much any time...

I might have done it once or twice before

Sigh. Junior Dubber duties. Look forward to seeing some results, particularly what the Tig is knocking out these days..

Pity you couldn't make it Dutch; it was otherwise an excellent turnout!

Power figures were generally a bit down on last time, however there were some standout performers. Damien's Tig managed 151kw, and 212kw was the magic number for Phil (Ozrodent - GTI ED35), Nick (Stage 2 Mk6 R), and Milos (milldinho - Jetta 2.0T APR K04).

Only downside was my mate's GTR - last car in the line - decided to overheat just as it was to go on the dyno, so it had to sit this one out.

Thanks everyone who came along - it was a good day!

                    Dyno Day Results

Thanks for everyone turning up and running their cars today - perfect weather for it too. Another great day to own a VW.

A few people left scratching their heads trying to work out where they are missing kW, however the dyno has been calibrated by Mainline only last week so today's figures should be right on the money.

Anyway here's the results from today's dyno day in running order:

Found a small object left on the table next to the BBQ at the dyno day when packing up.

If anyone left something behind please send me a PM.

Nice meeting everyone today! Great to see a hearty vw scene in Adelaide, hope to get in on the action a bit more in the future!

Just on the figures for the EOS, its only running an APR Stage 1 on a 147TSFI platform... hehe not quite stage 2 yet

No probs. I thought you had a DP on it - hence stage 2.

Yes and great to see a bunch of new faces/cars too.

Some strong results, I see the Tig opened up a gap over a stock R. Looking forward to a catch up soon..

I've updated the results as I know that 150kW run for the Tig was in 3rd gear not 4th (hence the higher torque figure also). So it's pretty much even pegging with a stock Golf R. The output at the crank will be higher in the Tig though but it has a larger driveline loss due to the DQ500 DSG which does rob another ~8-10%. On the brighter side the APR stage 3 Tig and TTRS up in Qld run the stock DSG gearbox without problems but our Golf brothers have to upgrade the internals.

Only relevant if one was considering stage 3?
