Hey Clay,

I was going to PM you this but I figure this would be better here for everyone to see the question.

Question is: If I wanted to take someone for a lap around the track on the day, the person coming with me must pay the entrance fee. That's clear….can they pay on the day or does it have to be before hand?

Hi Tim.
Technically they have to pay before the event so QR/Lakeside can tell how many people are attending.
I will clarify this for you (hopefully tonight, likely to be tomorrow though).

I might see if they can let us get away with a single lap for free at the start so people can get a feel for it but we'll see how we go.

Okay so I have had a long chat with the people from Lakeside about the passenger costs etc.

Tim, you are allowed to bring a passenger out for a lap or two free of charge (preferably near the start of the event as it makes it easier to get people on and off the track etc).
This is possible so long as we have less than 40 people total on the track throughout the event.


Now we just have to hope the rain stays away and we have a nice cool morning to have a safe blast around lakeside.

Basically, unless it is pouring with rain we go out.
We have had 2 or 3 so far where it has been showering and they let us go on with t but caution us to keep it very safe and limited to around 120ish.
