    Sounds good Clay,

Will be good to finally meet you this Saturday after all these years!

Btw, its an Alfa Romeo 33 in 50 shades of red……I think officially its Rosso. =)

Did you want me to put the money into an acct or fix you up this saturday?

Hi everyone. Just putting it out there that I'll be at Lakeside on the 16th to watch the Street Sprints at noon. I don't think I'll be there as early as you guys, but I'm thinking of participating in the "general practice" session at 9:30 after happy laps. If I do, I'll probably be able to catch up with some of you just before you leave. Unless of course anyone wants to stick around or do some general practice too!

I believe Alan will be around then as he has decided to graduate from Happy Laps to a more pure form of motorsport.
Will be good to see how you both find it.

Okay, Jmac, PGTI, Redline3345, Liquidforce and irivlin.
I am still awaiting confirmation from you (and payment) which will be required by Wednesday evening as that is our final deadline from Lakeside.

If I do not hear from you by then I will have to remove you from the list unfortunately.

I've done the street sprints, which have been pretty good, although I prefer Time Attack, because the calibre of "players" is much higher. I'll be doing up to 10 time attack sprints this year.
This will be the first time I do general practice, so I'll give you some feedback.

How much is the general practice to get onto?

It's $120 and you just show up on the day for a 9:30 start. You need full-length clothing, gloves, closed-in shoes and a helmet. There will be experienced drivers with prepped race cars on the track, so it's advisable to move from happy laps to timed sprints and THEN to general practice as apparently it can get pretty hairy out there.

I will put you on the reserve list.
At the moment we are fully numbered but i am yet to hear back from 4 people so if any of them withdraw i will add you to the list.
If not, you will automatically be allocated to the next event.

Just wondering is there an area where we can leave spare tyres, etc. near the track or best to leave these items at home? I'm planning on taking a few things out to save weight but not keen on leaving my spare tyre at home!

Any other racetrack tips would be appreciated!

I'm running the stock Polo GTI on the day (and first time on a race track).

If I may...I'd say leave everything that's secured in the boot, in the boot. No need to save weight for happy laps. Get everything out of the car that is loose and leave it at home. No need for projectiles
