Hi Chaps....
I am in Port Noarlunga area and have just bought this:






Really interested to participate in the social aspect of owning the GTI and will attend the meet/drive on Sunday 2nd April.
Any other VW/Euro meets coming up?
Had some VAG stuff in the past (back in the UK) where there was always a great club scene.

Welcome Richard.We do a cruise every second month and a diner every other month...Aside from that there are always plenty of thing,cruises,events we try to get to as much as possible.

As we got invited to take part in the Mclaren vale vintage and classic by the event organiser with the Harlequin we'll be up there most of the day....so a cruise is out for us.

I thought we were just going to recycle February cruise route seeing as it was interrupted before it really got started.

If people don't feel the need to have brunch with the Toorak tractor drivers we could meet at Windy Point instead.

Much to Adam's disgust I'm in the other blue/white badged German now, but the S3 was just too squeezy in the back.

I do stacks compared to Adam - the S3 almost reached five figures on the odo.

Forecast is 5% chance of rain on Sunday so no chance he can risk that.

OK I've updated the cruise information/route. Suggestions originally were to start at Pantry on Egmont in Hawthorn and/or Windy Point, however I was struggling to get a route that didn't include the first half hour in 50/60km/hr zones.

So we'll go back to our old start point at Taylor Blend instead and go for a run through to Lenswood and Cuddlee Creek via a slightly different route: Stonyfell to Newton via Mount Lofty, Bridgewater, Carey Gully, Lenswood, Cuddlee Creek and Castambul

Just a shortish run through the hills and back in town around 11:30am (as long as we don't stop too many times along the way).
