Welcome to the new look VWWatercooled

After much work and little sleep there is a new version of the forums running on more powerful and recent hardware as well as an upgraded software platform.

Things are mostly the same, but some things are a little different. We will be learning together, so please post questions (and answers if you've worked things out) in the help thread.

    Looks like a good route Damien. We'll need to keep things sensible; quite a few hidden speed cameras are being rolled out on roads close to town these days.

          At this stage it's only in the singular. A few people have said they may turn up for coffee but none confirmed for a run through the hills at this stage....

              Just ordered my GTI, I'll be pretty keen to make it to some of the cruises down here (only taken me 2 years to get in a VW) . I'm guessing the dyno day takes place instead of the May cruise?

                Dyno day (Sat 6 May) is instead of the coffee - unless someone wants to organise another catchup in the evening during the week.

                You can bring your coffee down to the dyno day anyway

                And yes next cruise is scheduled for the first Sunday in June (4th). Would be good to see a few new faces out.

                  Haha, I got my months mixed up!

                  I'd definitely be down for the cruise, not sure on the dyno as she'll probably still be stock as a rock by then.

                      I'm looking to firm up numbers so if you're a definite starter please post up in the dyno day thread wit the car you're looking to run. Preference to VAG and then other Euro.
