So, our next cruise is slated for next Sunday, August 7. Anyone have any preferences for a route or general direction?

The bloke who owns the Brighton Jetty Bakery is a member of EuroSA (drives a Caddy as his work vehicle I believe); he's been suggesting we start a cruise with a meet at the bakery for ages. So seeing as it's winter and we're more likely to find parking at Brighton during the colder months, how about we meet at the bakery for breakfast or coffee between 9:30-10, for a departure around 10-10:15?

You've missed a few now Jonasz! Have you parted out the Mk5 yet? Going to have to bring the Mk1 out on the October cruise!

I have unfortunately. Parts are coming off it fast now. Should be putting the car up for sale when I get back from Sydney.

If the weather is good the mk1 will be out. I'll try remember to keep the first weekend free.

Okay, here's a few options:

Route 1: Brighton Jetty Bakery to Normanville via Hallett Cove, Clarendon, Meadows, Myponga and Inman Valley (124km plus return)

Route 2: Brighton Jetty Bakery to McLaren Vale via Hallett Cove, Clarendon, Meadows, Myponga and Willunga (105km plus return)

Route 3: Brighton Jetty Bakery to Newton Shopping Centre via Blackwood, Stirling, Bridgewater, Uraidla, Basket Range, Lenswood, Cudlee Creek, Gumeracha, Checker Hill Rd and Corkscrew Rd (103km plus return)

True; the southern routes are a bit more open and flowing, which we don't get on every cruise.

Okay, I think we'll go with a slight derivation on route 1, with a few more twisties:

Brighton to Normanville via Clarendon, Kangarilla, Myponga and Inman Valley (116km plus return)

Meet point is Brighton Jetty Bakery, 9:30 for breakfast/coffee, for a 10am departure.
