I think our rims may be more acquainted than we are, but look forward to seeing the flameless Scirocco.

Just an FYI, if you can stretch you're drive down the coast a bit to Delamere and had back to Encounter Bay (Range Road) is an awesome drive. Lots of high speed sweeping smooth bends, its like a computer game, perfect bends and perfect scenery!

Well before the cruise next weekend we all have to work out how much power/torque each of our cars has.

It's a very important topic and to help everyone with this, I hope you can all bring your cars down to the dyno day tomorrow.

Even if you're not going to run your car you're still welcome to catch up with everyone, talk cars and grab a sausage from the barbie

And, for a change, we're meeting at Brighton Jetty Cafe (that's the one on the roundabout at The Esplanade), so anyone who rocks up at Taylor Blend may be have a bit of a catch-up drive.

If you want to print out a copy of the route, the printable version (in PDF) is here. We'll aim for lunch at Yankalilla Bakery, and either head back toward the city or continue on towards Victor for those wanting a longer drive.

Yep, it's a possibility, although I don't think that parking should be too much of a problem. When I go to Brighton I often park two streets south of Jetty Rd, on Beach Rd; it's all of 2 minutes' walk to the cafes. So if we want to make an effort to park together we could aim for there?

Either way, we can regroup for some photos at Seacliff (or somewhere else nearby) before heading off on the cruise.

That's a possibility - googlemaps tells me it increases my drive by 1.2km and 1 min, so I may need to flout some laws there.

Fortunately my initial drive to Jetty Rd measures 3.9km so I'm not fussed.

If that were me, I'd drive to town and back first just to warm up the oil.

Plenty of time to warmup the oil by the time we get to the top of Chandlers Hill Rd above Happy Valley.
