Hi guys. Im a scirocco R owner partof the SA hot hatches group.. would love to come along to one of the cruises but am busy for the next couple weeks.. look forward to meeting some of you and your dubs in the near future. My car:

OK given that next cruise is a couple of weeks away I thought I'd get the ball rolling to see if anyone had any suggestions for alternate start location and route.

We could always meet at same place/time and run a reverse route of the same course.

This is true, although there are so many great routes in the Hills, it'd almost be wrong to waste them.

Maybe something north-east this time, say up through Chain of Ponds and Birdwood, to Angaston for lunch? (There's a great pizza joint there.) Back via freeway. A good run I've done several times.

Or is that a bit far? We could do lunch in Birdwood, Mount Pleasant or Williamstown instead. Depends on how far people want to go I guess.

Both of those start and end at Taylor Blend; we can start wherever makes most sense for most people, and we'll likely finish up in the Barossa and make our own ways back.

Only problem she gets motion sickness so going around twisty roads on her birthday is not her idea of fun.

No dramas at all; everyone's welcome.

Not user if Miro (user Transporter) can make it, but if he tags along, he should be able to take a look at your car. He runs his own mobile servicing business and is a VW specialist.
