  • I think this time around we are dialing it down a notch as altho the rapid pace last time was enjoyable.....we did have a couple of friendly blue n reds checking us out....plus there's always oncoming traffic and those lyrca wearing traffic blockers.

Nah they're not suspect, plenty of tread, they're just a cheap brand I know from past experiences are not very good and I wouldn't feel completely comfortable pushing limits in them if this is one of those cruises as I imagine they wouldn't grip as well as a set of Eagle F1's might. Following the speed limit through twists would be totally fine though, I look forward to it. Also, although it's already been decided, I liked route #2 as well.

      • Sticking to speed limit but having some fun in the corners sounds like a good plan. Look forward to meeting you all!

The cruise starts at 9:30 and should be all done around 12:30ish; anyone who doesn't want to stay for lunch can head home to watch a full afternoon of Bathurst.

              • I guess I like to see the first hour of the race and the last few hours.
That being said my Son has little athletics 9-10 every Sunday now so I wont be making any of the coffee cruises

+1 Exactly. Why watch someone else driving a car when you can get out and drive your own

                      • Depending on what time the boss is opening up work so I can work on my car I might be able to drop past first at the meeting point to meet everyone.

My inner bogan is being released tonight - monster trucks at AAMI stadium! My excuse is that I'm taking my 6yo daughter. Actually, she's taking me, it was a Father's Day present.
