It obviously appeals to a certain market, just not one I'd want to be part of. Not sure it does much good for the image portrayed of car enthusiasts. But better than a commodore on retreads outside macca's.

The Renault morning was great, QR flows much better than lakeside for these events and in these conditions is more relaxed to drive closer to the grip levels, but I'm a closet QR fan.
Hope Sunday is a dry morning.

It is definitely a different demographic out there.
Seems like skids and short burst of acceleration is their thing whereas we are all about as much grip as possible and hitting the corners smoothly.


I see the appeal of QR for a lot of drivers, and i am trying to get someone to take on organising hte QR laps on alternating months with Lakeside.

I don't have the capacity to get to QR often so unfortunately I cannot organise it.

I can't actually make it out to QR every second month to attend the event.
I could organise it and just not attend but i prefer to actually be there to make sure I can coordinate the situation if anything happens (i.e. telling people off for driving dangerously etc)

If anyone doesn't get off the reserve list you're welcome to ride passenger in my e30 (actually if anyone could give me some pointers on lines and whatnot that would be awesome, even though I've done a bunch of these I'll be the first to admit I'm still not great at it haha, would love to get some constructive criticism)

Nothing in that video looked sensible or safe or even enjoyable. Im not saying parade like Nanas but I wouldn't have gone out on that track for anything. Can you imagine if someone had gone off in that weather? Or the blue R had clipped that car?

Stupid stuff.
