Renault laps were fun this morning in the rain again. Good to see a few people from here as well. I can only upload a few pics as I've only got 4G internet at the Gold Coast. I'll see if I can upload some video footage and more pics on wednesday when I'm in Brisbane. On a side note I thought it was funny at the end when a Clio RS200 driver was convinced I had tuned my car or modded it (too fast for 155bhp) lol.

The Downshift Aus guys were out at QR yesterday from memory, very wet out there.
Fingers crossed it fines up for us on Sunday.

Yeah I just bought a GoPro for the weekend.

I finally worked out how to get mine stuck on the windscreen and get a full frame view rather than haivng the mount stuck in half of it!

This is the first part of the downshift event at QR.
I cannot believe they let them out with so much water adn there was some very sketchy driving/overtaking going on.

I am glad we only do a small event and everyone is pretty well behaved.

I don't want to point out anyone in particular but that blue golf R looked like it almost took out the car it was overtaking! Also I think Dad's Rangie would have been the more appropriate vehicle to avoid water getting into the engine judging by that 'lake' on the track.

I think we have just the right number of people going to these to make them enjoyable but still available a reasonable number of people.

I was thinking the same thing, very little care and quite dangerous.
Also the driver of the MR2 film car pushed it to hang the back end out while he ws approaching the Blue R.

I would have been fine in the Tig but the Mk4 Golf's have a lower air intake and suffer in the wet.
