Might try to bring a friend who is buying a new car. Trying to get him to buy a polo/golf gti but I think he is leaning towards WRXs.

Probably wont make the start/departing point, but as I live along the route (Uki) I may join in there....
I realize I will miss the most fun part (Lyons road ) but just getting together with others is good enough for me.

Will there be that mandatory stop at the park on The Spit (Goldie) ??? Always a good place to rest and chat.

Yeah, you can join us anywhere alone the route and we can stop at the Spit if people want. What's it like these days? Is it still cop central?

See, I'm copying this cruise from here and it's noted that Beaudesert is probably the last stop that has fuel for the drive.

Toilets stops will need be looked into as well... there are lack of toilets on the back roads!

Well, any tree is a toilet for us!

That's gonna be tough because the WRX is such good bang for your buck! And it'll be kinda like a reintroduction cruise for you
