Yeah...not 100% sure there.Originally posted by maca View PostYeah, you can join us anywhere alone the route and we can stop at the Spit if people want. What's it like these days? Is it still cop central?
To be honest, I've not been there in a very long time. I just thought people may wish to call in there, but if it's a haven for bad things, we could do without such hassles...

I don't really mind going to the Spit but some people avoid it like the plague. My car's stock so I've got nothing to worry about so I guess we can discuss it on the day and people who want to go, can go.Originally posted by Stump View PostYeah...not 100% sure there.

Mt Lindsay highway between kyogle and woodenbong, best bit of blacktop I've come across to date. It's worth allowing an extra hour so you can do it a few times, the last drive I did with VW guys we did exactly that. Bout 20kms of S-bends, but keep it in the black stuff... Personally I'd do this stretch over Lyons, it's fresh black top, nice and smooth, cambered and no cows.
Ill be in china or Singapore that weekend unfortunately.Track Car: 06 Polo GTI Red Devil mkII
Daily: 2010 VW Jetta Highline
Gone but not forgotten: 08 Polo GTI

If that's the case, we can easily turn right onto Summerland Way, head to Woodenbong (lol) and double back to Kyogle. It's not a massive de/retour.Last edited by maca; 15-01-2013, 06:30 PM.2002 Volkswagen Bora V5 - 2007 Mazda 3 GT - 1998 Ford Contour Sport - 2010 Volkswagen Jetta 2.0T - 2013 Volkswagen Passat 130TDI - 2015 Ford Escape 1.5 - 2016 Subaru WRX - 2018 Volkswagen Golf R Wolfsburg Wagon

Glad to see so many people are joining in for this. It'll be a great cruise! Although I'm hoping the roads haven't been damaged too much thanks to the rain.
Boo, but at least you're in VAG now so there's a "slight" chance of us crossing paths again.Originally posted by cjay View PostSorry Sheldon, don't think I'll be able to make it now
