I bought mine through this site - GTECH PRO FANATIC SS & RR - Gtech Pro RR. I called the guy first. The RR upgrade would be worth every cent, I don't look at anything off the unit, really has to be on the computer. I did some 0-100, 100-0, 2nd and 3rd pulls the other week though yet to delve into the results.

Ben (aka Machine, is that right?) yeah somewhere in between is good as I'm on the southside. I did some straight line testing a few weeks back in an industrial estate just south of Hyperdome, though I don't think it'd be ideal for this. Might have to do some research. Doesn't need to be anything serious, wouldn't need to be high speed but some corners, straights and braking would be good (an industrial estate at the right time of day may allow that). Point to point would also be ok.

Also, their cars are worth $1000 or so rather than 50-55k for a Golf R.

I'd love to get in to this series, it's a brilliant arrangement, very controlled group. A mate has just finished prepping an excel to be part of it. He used to race in the gemini series.

It is a great series though, like a minature V8 Supercars race.
Just a shame i don't have the space/disposable income to get into it.

interesting lines you got there. What software? On the last event I had one lap show funny on my timer as it lost a gps signal from that overpass/bridge thing, but that doesn't look the case with yours. It's obviously a gremlin in the overlay. Perhaps try doing a few laps around the block to see if it can be calibrated. Can you pull the raw data into MS Excel? That should give you all the plots too, so can compare the recording vs the overlay.

That was GPS laps for android, it was the first time i used it. Will have to test it before next time i think or try a few others out.
