I disagree, Mountain Cruise work if you make smaller groups of 6-8 cars each, grouped according to car & driver ability.
Of course honesty is a requirement here because if you say you're awesome and then hold up the pack... Everyone will know!

It works just like the Sprints are organised for QR & Lakeside, you are grouped according to speed as this will increase safety / reduce overtaking &/or driver frustration.

I am aware this is not a race (durr) but everyone has a different level of experience & knowledge... One person's idea of "fast" could be another person's "slow".

P.S I am happy to help organise groups & lead one if necessary.

Given the route is up Nebo to start, would it not be better starting at the rooftop carpark of the Gap Village?

Also the traffic lights out of newmarket carpark take a long time to change.

Route: Mt Nebo -> Somerset Dam (Photos) -> Kilcoy (Lunch) -> Mt Mee -> Dayboro ->Strathpine Shopping center (Finish)
Meet: Coles at Newmarket, 95-99 Enoggera Road Newmarket Queensland 4051, Under ground carpark.

Rules:
Everyone please behave yourself, we are all grown up adults. This is a "social cruise" with little fast speed, if you are looking for Initial D Style mountain run, please organise one yourself.
When we are up on the twisties, please DO NOT overtake others because it's a very dangerous action.
As the topic said, Euro Cars ONLY! Ford & Holden do not classified as Euro.

Bring:
- Full Tank of Petrol, We will be covering around 260km for the day.
- UHF, if you got one
- GPS, incase you got lost
- Lunch money from parents, we will be having lunch at "Stanley Hotel at Mary Street, Kilcoy". They start serving lunch from 12noon to 2pm.

Others:
At this stage, I worked out there will be 1 photo shot spot which is at The spit - Lake Somerset. I will do another drive to the route next weekend to work out if there is a nice spot for photos.
If anyone want to maybe help lead group if too many car, pm me. I am try to get it as organise as I can so no one get lost
Anyone who is going on this date with this route, please leave a word on here so I can let the lunch place know how many people we looking.

well my car will be out of its 2 month repair by then so guess I should get back into the scene again Ive been out of picture for a long time........a long time and it will be genuine funny to see that much cashed euro in saint trashpines shopping car park. ohhh the memories that place will bring back from my teenage years...... thanks for organizing though very keen.lol

Very large carpark, especially if you are happy to park on the roof.
Also, only 1 traffic light setup so its easier to keep everyone together.
