I'd be interested in this Reppin the French community.
I agree with some other people, I think if there are more than say 30-40 people, it may start to get out of hand if we are going to be doing lots of twisties through the 'mountains'.

Also I totally agree to keeping it to the euro forums only, we don't want @$$es who wear sideways caps and DC skate shoes with boardshorts coming to this in their ricers.

I'm pretty sure the 22nd and 6th will be fine for me, although I'll have to wait for confirmation with uni mid-semester exam timetables.

Sounds like a great idea, just one small thing, numbers will be a problem when doing twisty roads, if you get 20 - 30 or even 50 cars it will just be out of control.

Happy to put my hand up and help, i've been organizing cruises for cars and bikes for years, good to see someone getting involved.

This. Best keep the twisties section short with large car numbers, or make it an optional section of the drive.

I've been on a few VW cruises down to the coast and around the hinterland which is always easy going and fun.

I'll know if I'm able to come when the Date is finalized but I'll try and make it.

I would suggest an Oct date as Jamboree is on the 22&23 Sept and suspect a fair few people will be heading out. I will most likely have both my cars there for the weekend. But keen for a cruise any other date.

Updates guys

At this stage, we are looking at the date of 22 Sep. People can choose to go to Jamboree to sit around and look at cars or come and actually in the action. The route will be either 1 of those 3, we will work it all out latest by "8 Sep". Remember this is only a social cruise around and meet up, no "too" fast action or activity will be involve.

Now I need a few things from everyone:
1) show off hands for people who will be attending (ie you or you and your friends in what vehicles)
2) If the number went too big (35+), I will probably need someone with UHF to lead a group or stay between packs incase we got seperate.
3) Need someone to do some test drive with me on these three route to see how much time we need / how many km is going to be covered if too long where for fuel stop
4) Need someone with good photo taking skill to cover this event.
5) Any Advice, shot me a pm please.

I'd be interested in this. My car's only a stock GTI though, so she's not fast.
But I do wanna take the car out and really drive it before dumping money into mods.
