I have been told Downshift will have 100 cars out there so it's probably going to be just like my daily commute to work... Raging at all the slow incompetent people doing 20km under the limit

$25 per car x 100cars. . . . . . . . no wonder QR only give us (VW Boys) the option of lunch time or accident-ly relocated us to Lakeside. . I started to not like these people at all.

Does many of us got CAMS license?

I have a AASA licence, been racing sprints @ QR for about 4 years solid and just recently started doing Lakeside because TBH QR is boring.

If I'm going to drive THAT far, it had better be a proper race or sprints and not for fuddy-duddy-not-so-happy-laps

I've had the ASAA a few times over the years. Racing at morgan park... would only be doing that in a dedicated track car, not the current. Buy a few hyundai excels and lets join that series, it'd be slow but I reckon great fun

I taken my box to MP very often on Wednesday. They hold regular practice session there

I've only done a few driver training days out there so not sure how it'd go with passing cars in race conditions. The new section was just built last time but not yet cured to allow cars. Long way to bring the car home on a flat bed.

If there'd be enough interest, I can ask the guys at Safe Driver Training whether they'd run an afternoon out there, but it wouldn't be happy lap prices...

I am happy to pay more. . I done practice there in the other car and the abarth. its better track and not as boring.

Forgive the hi-jack please; my son is about to go to red "P-plates" and I am looking for Brisbane area advanced driver training, which I see mentioned above.
Any recommendations would be most welcome!

Hi - I've done a few with Safe Drive Training (sdt) as I know the family - Defensive Driving - SAFE DRIVE TRAINING - Defensive and Advanced Driving Courses available across Asia-Pacific region

They do a lot training for the mines and schools, their advanced trainers are also racers. Also lots of product testing for Fulcrum and product launches.

Sorry Steve - did you mean is it at QR or LP for the Happy Laps, or what track we are using? - It's QR for lunch laps 12:00 start at breakfast prices - $25 (as in the first post of this thread and post#50) and it's the Clubman circuit... unfortunately I needed to make a decision at the time - with the amount of miscommunication that has happened already, I did not want to have a delay, then talk to yet another different person and risk another round of mix-ups with associated confusion for people making plans.
