        I can now see what people mean about my car cornering pretty well for what it is especially with energy saver tyres on skinny 195/55 R16 wheels. Although, the 4-spd auto-slushbox with a 125ps engine doesn't go too well together on long straights.

        It looks like a few people were caught out on turn 4 (first left hander), 10:11 Part 2. I know I was very close to going off on the opening lap haha.

        • Hey Nat your lines are pretty good mate. Corner entry and apex appears pretty well spot on across all corners and hairpins, though if may suggest youre not unwinding enough steering lock as you go post apex and back on the throttle. If you can allow the car to throttle steer out of the corner, running wider, back on the throttle earlier you'll be carrying much more speed out. It also takes some work off the tyres.

            yeah I was not unwinding the steering enough on some corners post apex point, some were to avoid getting closer to the car in front (stone chips and safety)... but I need more track hours to achieve consistency

            • It all comes with time, trusting yourself and the car. Usually more time is lost on corner entry, going too deep under brakes, missing apex, though you look pretty well sorted for that. Corner exit speed will follow naturally as you get on the throttle sooner.

              Or buy a playstation/Xbox and a racing set up, great fun and can learn quite a few little tricks and techniques.

                  Nice footage, best to brake early than late Can be very scary the first time out. I wouldn't worry about the ESP (except if it takes the fun away). When I turn my ESP/TCS off, it turns itself back on again 10 minutes later Whoever at Citroen thought that was a good idea is retarded.

                              Hey nat225, I'm not having a go here but I noticed on several occasions you crossed the solid white line into the pit exit lane approaching turn 1. At some point almost half your car was in that lane.
                              This is a serious safety issue as cars exiting pit lane have no where to go if you happen to drive into that lane at the wrong time.

                              Now I realize the QR staff did not state this in the briefing like they normally do.
                              Keep in mind that track officials (usually) black flag anyone who does this.
