If it can be fixed tomorrow or early saturday i would definitely say yes!
To be honest i would skip happy laps and aim for more time to fix that so you can have a crack at the driver training.

I believe they will scrutineer the car before driver training however so they may pick it up if it isn't fixed.

I'm working all day today and wasn't able to take it anywhere this morning, so probably a no go for tomorrow

Second track day I have missed. Sigh. Oh well better to get it sorted rather than drop oil all over the track for others to slip on..

The second sentence is the one i am thinking QR will have an issue with unfortunately as driver training is held with the open class so there are some very fast and very modificed cars out.

It is a shame really as Lakeside is such a fun track.
I will keep you in mind for the next one i organise there (October)

Is it possible to take Tim's spot (AusScare) for Happy Laps? I will be there for the Open Sprints & Driver training. I would like to take my friend along. If there are already reserves then dw about it.

I should finally have some decent onboard footage now because I am now the proud owner of a GoPro Hero 2 (motorsport pack)

Anyone have some recommendations for where I should put on some of the exterior mountings on my car? It can wait until tomorrow though as well so no rush Also should I use the waterproof backplate or just use the backplate that has holes in it for audio?

I doubt there will be any moisture out there so the one with holes should be fine.
It gets mighty noisey when you film outside a car at more than 60km/h though.

The one right next to gateway
